Laura Linney
Laura Linney is an American actress whose name has gained acclaim because of her portrayal of powerful, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was born into a theatrical family her father was the playwright Romulus Linney. Linney received her degree in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow before graduating with honors from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. In 1990, she began with her Broadway career. The audience praised her by critics for Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
