Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actor also a producer, director and actor. She is most well-known for her starring part as a character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. While growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many dreams. She was raised by her mom who loved watching movies. Paula participated in co-curricular activities at school and loved drama. Her classmates and she played together and took part in the school's plays. She was a part of numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as her career. She was in The University of Southern Calif's Summer program and enjoyed the experience to death. She was awarded the PBS three-month project to film documentary films. She started as a production assist for TV documentaries, after completing her project. After completing her assignment then she began putting together documentary films. While she enjoyed the work, she yearned to be an actress. She started her acting career with a small role in the romantic comedy film Hitch, alongside Will Smith. Since then, she has been in numerous films as well as TV shows.
